Are we really independent? From whom and what? Only when we realize that we haven't yet loved our neighbors as we ought to..and do something about it..that all of us can be proud of the fact that we are independent..Until then, we can celebrate a day as "Independence Day" and then go about life as usual..Enjoy your holiday..Share some of your joys with others..reach out to someone in need if you have been blessed..Make a change in your life and don't quit because no one else is following suit..Create a ripple effect in your family, among your friends, in the communities we live in and the world will be a better place by the time we have lived our few years of man made time..Eternity it lasts..
