Ever heard parents say "when I used to be your age, we had to do this and do that..all of you got it too easy"..well that's what made them tough to face the real world challenges..modern day parents cannot have more than one or two children and cope with the pressures of day to day life..large families used to be the good ole days, where your siblings could form a team to play against your neighbors..strength in numbers..today we are so fragile as a family..you lose the only son or daughter that you invested so much in and it devastates you..you lose all hope...imagine then a father's loss to see his son on the cross paying the ultimate price to bring back all sons and daughters back to a loving father, a strict disciplinarian, one whose balance is perfect with mercy and justice, the scales balancing perfect.. No wonder the father said proudly "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased"..Ever heard how the eagle teaches its young ones to fly..got to take some lessons from God's creation to understand Whom we worship and serve..We are called to be His son's and daughters and if our earthly fathers and mothers corrected us for our mistakes to make us better, how much more our heavenly father..Now to those mental health professionals who keep changing their minds with every research study...What's the truth about the normal curve? If geniuses and retards are two extremes in cognitive development, why prefer one over the other? where is love on a normal curve?
